Although Belgium is officially trilingual (yes, even German is an official language), a lot of local and regional information is only available in French. However, for years, great efforts have been made to change this.

A few "classics" in the La Roche area are:

* The old medieval city centre "Durbuy Vieille ville",

* "Les Topiaires": a beautiful park with topiary trees
* Wéris: nice village with a lot of dolmen and menhirs (and of course a museum about them),
